Teach Your Team to Play Like a Symphony

I had the privilege of attending an event for high school musicians led by the Savannah Philharmonic Symphony last year. These were high school band students from all around Savannah, Georgia, who spent one weekend learning five difficult concert pieces. This annual three-day workshop hand picks musically gifted students to participate in a rare opportunity to learn, network, and perform in a holiday concert.

What amazed me most was that these players did not know each other. They sat there, total strangers from different high schools on a Friday afternoon, yet by Sunday, the music they played was breathtaking, and it sounded like they had been playing together for years.
